Flux 2 Pro

Flux 2 Pro on Kyeo supports text-to-image and image editing. A request without an upload uses `flux-2/pro-text-to-image`; attaching one to eight images switches to `flux-2/pro-image-to-image`. Both routes offer seven fixed aspect ratios and 1K/2K, currently priced at 5/7 credits.

No upload uses `flux-2/pro-text-to-image`; attaching images switches to `flux-2/pro-image-to-image`.
Generation and editing both offer seven fixed aspect ratios and `1K / 2K`; Kyeo does not expose `auto` or 4K.
Editing accepts up to eight JPG, PNG, or WebP images, currently limited to 10 MB each on Kyeo.
Both routes use resolution pricing: `1K=5` and `2K=7` credits; price is not a ranking of output quality.

Selection guide

Use these decision points when choosing a model.

1
Choose the frame and resolution for prompt-only generation

With no image attached, select one of seven fixed aspect ratios and confirm the 1K or 2K credit cost. A resolution label describes the available output tier.

2
Give every uploaded image a role

Attaching images switches to the editing route. Submit only material you are entitled to use, and identify which image supplies the subject, composition, material, color, or other reference. An eight-image maximum is neither a recommendation nor a consistency guarantee.

3
Keep inputs identical when comparing Pro and Flex

The two Kyeo forms currently show the same seven ratios, 1K/2K, and eight-image limit, but use different routes and prices. Compare the same prompt, images, and resolution.

Practical usage insights

Practical observations based on real creative workflows.

FLUX: Fast to explore

BFL currently documents a fixed `FLUX` snapshot and a continuously updated `FLUX-preview`.

Pro and Flex currently expose nearly identical Kyeo controls

BFL's direct documentation distinguishes Flex with adjustable steps and guidance, but Kyeo does not expose those parameters. Here, users can compare the route, credit cost, and actual outputs—not the full BFL direct control surface.

Capabilities

Automatic routing based on the upload

A request without images goes to `flux-2/pro-text-to-image`; attaching one to eight images uses `flux-2/pro-image-to-image` and passes them through `input_urls`.

Shared aspect-ratio and resolution controls

Kyeo offers seven fixed aspect ratios and `resolution=1K / 2K` on both routes. Generation and editing cost 5 or 7 credits according to resolution; attaching an image does not change that pricing.

Multi-image editing within Kyeo's file limits

The current interface accepts up to eight JPG, PNG, or WebP images at 10 MB each. Technical identifiers: `auto`, `nsfw_checker`.

Use cases

Generate an image in a chosen frame

Select the aspect ratio for a page, social post, or presentation, then describe the subject, environment, composition, lighting, color, and anything the output should avoid.

Request changes to one existing image

Upload one image you have permission to use and specify what to preserve, replace, add, or remove. Review the output for subject, text, and color accuracy.

Combine several reference images

Use separate images for the subject, background, material, or layout, but explain the relationship in the prompt and check that the result has not merged or omitted elements incorrectly.

Prompt tips

State the task before the visual conditions

Explain what to generate or change, then add the subject, action, setting, composition, lighting, material, and color. Clear language reduces ambiguity but cannot guarantee exact execution.

Increase resolution only when it serves the task

1K and 2K currently cost 5 and 7 credits. You can inspect composition and instruction handling at the lower tier before testing 2K; a higher tier does not mean every detail will improve.

Number each reference and define its purpose

For multiple inputs, identify image 1, image 2, and so on as the source for a subject, background, color, or material. Conflicting references may force the model to choose, so review the result manually.

Strengths

One page switches automatically between generation and editing based on the upload.
Editing accepts up to eight images with clear format, size, and count limits.
Seven fixed aspect ratios and 1K/2K apply to both generation and editing.
The 5/7-credit resolution cost is visible before submission.

Limitations

The current interface does not offer `aspect_ratio=auto`, 4K, or an output-format choice.
Upstream examples include `nsfw_checker`, but Kyeo does not expose that control.
Upstream interface does not identify its upstream snapshot, so it may not match BFL's fixed or preview endpoint.
Using more reference images can introduce conflicting instructions and does not guarantee identity or layout consistency.

Credit usage

5-7 credits / request

Text-to-image and editing use the same resolution pricing: 5 credits for 1K or 7 credits for 2K.

Budget tip

Before batch generation, run an A/B test with the same assets across the current model and alternatives to validate quality and avoid wasting credits.

Source notes

This page distinguishes Black Forest Labs' direct model documentation, the upstream interface's Flux-2 Pro routes, and Kyeo's active form. BFL currently documents a fixed `FLUX` snapshot and a continuously updated `FLUX-preview`; the upstream interface uses `flux-2/pro-text-to-image` and `flux-2/pro-image-to-image` without disclosing its available snapshot. Kyeo selects the generation workflow with no upload and the editing workflow after an upload, exposing only seven fixed aspect ratios, `1K / 2K`, up to eight images, and a 5,000-character prompt.
