At a glance

What is this model like?

This page describes the GPT Image 2 controls and limits that Kyeo currently exposes. You can enter up to 20,000 characters, upload up to 16 references, and choose among 6 aspect ratios and 1K, 2K, or 4K. Kyeo exposes fewer controls than OpenAI's direct API, and every result still requires human review.

Why use it on Kyeo AI
Kyeo combines the prompt, references, aspect ratio, and resolution in one form, displays the credit cost, and checks incompatible combinations before submission, making controlled comparisons easier.

Selection guide

Use these decision points when choosing a model.

1
Choose it for the controls you need

Include GPT Image 2 in your test when you need reference-image editing, a 20,000-character prompt, up to 16 images, or explicit 1K/2K/4K price tiers.

2
Compare alternatives by controls

Compare GPT Image 1.5 if medium/high quality tiers are preferable. Compare Nano Banana Pro if output format or a wider aspect-ratio selection matters, and evaluate both on the same brief.

3
Use a minimal, repeatable test

Start with a few essential references and one repeatable prompt at 1K. Check the subject, text, composition, and protected regions before testing 2K or 4K for an actual size need. At 4K, avoid `auto` and `1:1`.

Practical usage insights

Practical observations based on real creative workflows.

OpenAI's direct API is broader than Kyeo's form

OpenAI documents quality, arbitrary valid sizes, output format, compression, background, and masks. Kyeo currently exposes only aspect ratio and 1K/2K/4K, so the full direct-API control surface must not be presented as a Kyeo feature.

Resolution and capacity are not quality rankings

Kyeo's 1K/2K/4K tiers mainly determine output size and credits, while 16 images is only an input maximum. Neither a higher tier nor more references automatically improves accuracy, consistency, or usability.

Capabilities

Text generation and reference-image editing

Kyeo submits text-only requests to `gpt-image-2-text-to-image`. Adding references switches to `gpt-image-2-image-to-image`, with the images supplied through `input_urls`.

Three resolutions with combination checks

The `resolution` field offers 1K, 2K, and 4K for 3, 5, and 8 credits. Kyeo rejects those combinations before submission.

Up to 16 reference images

The editing workflow accepts up to 16 `input_urls`. Kyeo currently accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 10 MB each. The maximum is not a recommended count or a consistency guarantee.

Use cases

Product and advertising concepts

Generate background, composition, and aspect-ratio variations from text or a product reference. Verify trademarks, packaging text, anatomy, and product details in every result.

Reference-image edits

Describe the subject that must remain and the background, composition, or material that may change, then test whether the model follows the request with a small reference set.

Multi-object scene generation

Separate objects, spatial relationships, camera direction, and style into clear prompt sections, then review omissions, placement errors, text, and policy-sensitive content.

Prompt tips

Start with a valid aspect-ratio and resolution pair

Automatic aspect ratio works only at 1K, and 1:1 does not support 4K. Choose a valid pair first, then keep the prompt fixed while comparing 1K, 2K, or 4K output.

Assign a purpose to each reference

State which image defines the subject, material, background, or layout, and begin with a small set.

Separate what must stay from what may change

For editing, list the traits to preserve, the regions that may change, and content to avoid. Manually inspect text, logos, hands, and edges after generation.

Strengths

One page supports text generation and reference-image editing.
The 1K/2K/4K credit prices and invalid combinations are explicit.
The prompt limit is 20,000 characters and the reference limit is 16 images.
Kyeo checks the automatic-aspect-ratio and 4K restrictions before submission.

Limitations

Kyeo exposes only 6 aspect ratios and 3 resolution tiers, fewer controls than OpenAI's direct API.
4K cannot be combined with 1:1 or automatic aspect ratio; automatic aspect ratio supports only 1K.
The 16-image maximum is a capacity limit.
Text layout, recurring characters, and brand elements can still drift and require human review.

Credit usage

3–8 credits per request

Kyeo currently charges by resolution: 1K costs 3 credits, 2K costs 5, and 4K costs 8 for either generation or editing.

Budget tip

Before batch generation, run an A/B test with the same assets across the current model and alternatives to validate quality and avoid wasting credits.

FAQ

GPT Image 1.5

GPT Image 1.5 supports generation and editing on Kyeo AI. Text-only requests use `gpt-image/1.5-text-to-image`; attaching references switches to `gpt-image/1.5-image-to-image`. Kyeo exposes 3 aspect ratios and `medium / high` tiers at 4 / 22 credits. OpenAI now marks GPT Image 1.5 as a deprecated previous model, so new work should also benchmark a current model such as GPT Image 2.

Nano Banana Pro

Nano Banana Pro supports text-to-image generation and reference-image editing on Kyeo AI, with 1K, 2K, or 4K output. Each 1K or 2K request costs 8 credits, while 4K costs 14. Resolution is an output-size tier, not a guarantee of quality, accuracy, or detail.

Flux 2 Pro

Flux 2 Pro on Kyeo supports text-to-image and image editing. A request without an upload uses `flux-2/pro-text-to-image`; attaching one to eight images switches to `flux-2/pro-image-to-image`. Both routes offer seven fixed aspect ratios and 1K/2K, currently priced at 5/7 credits.

Source notes

This page reflects OpenAI's official GPT Image 2 model page and image-generation guide, the upstream interface's GPT Image 2 generation and editing specifications, and Kyeo's current configuration, request routing, and upload policy. OpenAI's direct model ID is `gpt-image-2`; the upstream interface publishes `gpt-image-2-text-to-image` and `gpt-image-2-image-to-image` without naming a snapshot. Kyeo currently allows 20,000 prompt characters, up to 16 reference images, 6 aspect-ratio choices, and 1K/2K/4K output, with a 10 MB limit per upload. Quality, arbitrary valid sizes, output format, compression, background, and mask controls from OpenAI's direct API are not available in Kyeo's form.
