Flux Kontext Pro

Flux Kontext Pro provides prompt-only generation and one-image editing on Kyeo for a fixed 4 credits. Generation offers six aspect ratios. Uploading one image switches to editing, where Kyeo hides the ratio control and sends no ratio by default. The page also exposes JPEG or PNG, automatic translation, prompt enhancement, safety tolerance, and a watermark identifier.

What it does best
Kyeo uses the single upstream model `flux-kontext-pro` for prompt-only generation and one-image editing through a dedicated Kontext endpoint. BFL recommends FLUX.2 for new projects, so this page presents Kontext Pro as an available legacy option rather than the latest release.
Best for
It can be evaluated for local edits, text changes, style transformations, or generation from a prompt. Character consistency, typography, and iterative editing claims still need testing with your own material.

At a glance

What is this model like?

Automatic translation can handle prompts written in other languages, but it may alter wording or emphasis.

Why use it on Kyeo AI
Kyeo combines format, translation, prompt enhancement, safety tolerance, and a watermark identifier in one form and charges 4 credits in either mode. The controls are visible before submission; the Pro name does not establish an outcome tier.

Selection guide

Use these decision points when choosing a model.

1
Decide whether a legacy model is acceptable

Include FLUX.2 in the comparison when a project requires BFL's current recommendation. Consider Kontext Pro when an existing workflow depends on it or you specifically want to test its one-image editing behavior.

2
Separate generation and editing limits

Generation offers six ratios and safety tolerance from 0 to 6.

3
Hold helper settings constant

When comparing Pro, Max, or FLUX.2, keep the input, output format, automatic translation, and prompt enhancement state fixed. Translation and enhancement both alter what reaches the model.

Practical usage insights

Practical observations based on real creative workflows.

Available does not mean currently recommended

A useful page must state both facts. Technical identifiers: `flux-kontext-pro`.

The safety control changes by mode

This mismatch can determine whether a request is valid, so it is more than an optional advanced-control detail.

Capabilities

Prompt-only generation and one-image editing

Without an upload, Kyeo uses generation mode. Uploading one JPG, PNG, or WebP passes it as `inputImage` to the same `flux-kontext-pro` model. The current file limit is 10 MB.

Mode-dependent aspect-ratio behavior

Generation shows 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, and 9:16. Kyeo hides `aspectRatio` after an upload.

Prompt and output helpers

Kyeo exposes `enableTranslation`, `promptUpsampling`, JPEG or PNG, and `watermark`. The watermark field is an identifier, not a guarantee that a visible mark will appear.

Safety tolerance is not a compliance switch

Generation accepts 0–6; editing accepts only 0–2. Higher values mean more permissive moderation.

Use cases

Tests of local changes to one image

Try replacing a background, object, or local property while naming the regions that must stay unchanged. Review whether the model altered anything outside the request.

Tests of text changes inside an image

BFL lists text editing as a Kontext capability. It can be evaluated on signs, labels, or posters.

Character or style variation samples

Use one image to test a character, scene, or style change. Identity, object, and brand consistency must be verified per result rather than inferred from vendor examples.

Prompt tips

Choose translation before submitting non-English text

Turn on `enableTranslation` for a non-English brief; if you already have reviewed English instructions, turn it off to avoid another rewrite.

Name both the change and the constraints

Specify the object, position, or text to replace and the subject, composition, color, or style to preserve. Clear instructions aid review but do not guarantee a strictly local edit.

Record the prompt-enhancement state

Keep its state in your test record because an enabled request may no longer execute the exact wording you entered. Technical identifiers: `promptUpsampling`.

Strengths

One Kyeo page supports prompt-only generation and one-image editing.
JPEG or PNG, translation, prompt enhancement, safety tolerance, and a watermark identifier are visible controls.
Both modes cost a fixed 4 credits, so the Kyeo charge is known before submission.
The one-image limit and previous-generation status are explicit for comparisons with current multi-image models.

Limitations

BFL labels FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] as previous-generation and recommends FLUX.2 for new projects.
Kyeo accepts one input image and does not support multi-reference Kontext editing.
Automatic translation and prompt enhancement can both change the original wording.
Result links also expire after 14 days.

Credit usage

4 credits per request

Kyeo currently charges a fixed 4 credits for prompt-only generation and one-image editing.

Budget tip

Before batch generation, run an A/B test with the same assets across the current model and alternatives to validate quality and avoid wasting credits.

Flux Kontext Max

Flux Kontext Max provides prompt-only generation and one-image editing on Kyeo for a fixed 8 credits. It exposes the same controls as Pro: six ratios in generation, one image in editing, JPEG or PNG, translation, prompt enhancement, safety tolerance, and a watermark identifier.

Flux 2 Pro

Flux 2 Pro on Kyeo supports text-to-image and image editing. A request without an upload uses `flux-2/pro-text-to-image`; attaching one to eight images switches to `flux-2/pro-image-to-image`. Both routes offer seven fixed aspect ratios and 1K/2K, currently priced at 5/7 credits.

GPT Image 2

GPT Image 2 supports text-to-image generation and reference-image editing on Kyeo AI. Kyeo charges by output resolution: 1K costs 3 credits, 2K costs 5, and 4K costs 8.

Source notes

Kyeo's current configuration and dedicated Flux Kontext workflow define the available scope on this page; BFL now labels FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] as a previous-generation model and recommends FLUX.2 for new projects. Kyeo still offers `flux-kontext-pro`, but this page does not call it the latest model. Safety tolerance is 0–6 for generation but only 0–2 for editing; Kyeo displays 0–6 in both modes, so editing requests must not use 3–6. Technical identifiers: `enableTranslation`.
